Hi Tweeters,

The new Great Blue Heron nest I was so excited about
doesn't seem to be getting off the ground like I
thought it might. Maybe the high winds a factor.
Also only one heron seems to be bringing and adding
sticks ever so slowly to the nest.

Last Sunday was finally my first swallow sighting and
all of the sudden they seem to be everywhere including
Medina Park.

At the Evergreen Park and Ride I saw a Peregrine
Falcon on one of the snags. I almost passed it off as
Red Tail but glad I had my binocs.

Just got over the bridge for the day and off 520 was 5
Red Necked Grebes in Lake Washington. Traffic was
slow so got good looks. They are transitioning into
breeding plumage. Also about 25 Western Grebes.
Nice!

Kathy
