Sunday Bird Walk: March 21, 2004, 9:15 am. to 11:45 am. Neck Point Park
Nanaimo BC.

Weather: High Clouds, Calm wind and about 15? C.

Highlights: A warm beautiful spring morning made for great birding!
A Townsend's Solitare and a Yellow-rumped Warbler made their appearance
along the pathway. Four Marbled Murrelets and over 200 Pacific Loons
were seen off shore. Further off shore, we spotted a huge raft of at
least a thousand seabirds, containing several species including all
three Scoters and both Barrow's and Common Goldeneye.
