Hi Denny and Tweets,

Unlike Stellar's Jay which has always been Steller's Jay, 'wigeon' was once
spelled 'widgeon'. It was changed some time ago, in the 80's it seems I read
somewhere, but it could have been before that. Maybe someone out here can
remember when this change took place. Or, maybe 'widgeon' was the spelling
that was commonplace outside of ornithological vernacular. Anyhow at one
time an accepted spelling was 'widgeon'.
