I just got back from chasing some elusive gulls at a Corpus Christi
landfill when I read the posts on early Swainson's Thrushes.

Great finds! I will add your early record, Martyn, to the checklist
I have been maintaining for Lake Sammamish State Park, namely the one
at http://www.pluggablelogic.com/aves/lssp. It will be interesting
to learn of any other early Swainson's in the Northwest this spring.
