I can use some advise as to how to protect hummingbirds from flying into windows. Does anyone have any ideas? I have one feeder not far from a window, which I am going to move, however last year a bird flew into a large picture window and the feeder was nowhere near there.

My idea is to put up decals, but will that help? The male is very curious and I am careful not to stand in the window wearing red or put any brightly colored flowers near the windows indoors.

Yesterday I spotted the male sitting in a tree about 50 yards from my kitchen window. I pulled out the binoculars to look at him and he started charging right for me. He was moving really fast and came all the way up to the window. I had moved out of sight and he nearly rammed right into the window but caught himself and turned aside. Not sure what he was seeing there. There was nothing red in sight. I think the little bugger was attacking me. I have been swooped while out in the yard before, but not while inside.

The hummingbirds and male robins own the yard. I do not have any low windows to worry about for those robins.
I appreciate any ideas.
