Just had a long look at the "whitest" Red-tail ever. It's coloration was like
a Ferruginous, white all over, with some chestnut markings. The top of it's
tail is a real pretty chestnut.
We left him this afternoon, sitting in the top of a large dead tree a ways
behind a barn that looks like something owls would like. The address is 19420
225th Ave. SE, a couple miles north of Maple Valley. We also caught a richly
colored Red-Brested Nuthatch acting like a flycatcher on Dorre Don Way.
