I forgot to mention, we also saw 8 LONG-BILLED CURLEW in a field off of
Hwy 17, one mile south of the junction with Hwy 24, and there was one
CINNAMON TEAL and one BLUE-WINGED TEAL at Rocky Ford Creek. The very
vocal Muskrats and the strangely tame yet hard-to-catch Rainbow Trout at
Rocky Ford were fun to watch, as well.
