Subject: who says seee seee su su sueee? - Schmitz Park, Seattle -Brown Creepers, also Butterfly sightings

Today I heard the "seee seee su su sueee" repeatedly in Schmitz Park in West
Seattle. I then saw some Brown Creepers and I'm pretty sure they were the
singers though I couldn't quite see the mouth of a singer while it was
singing. So to all who said "Brown Creeper", I believe you were right.
Thank you.

Also in Schmitz Park today was my best butterfly day of the year: From
about 2:45 pm to about 3:00pm on this warm, sunny afternoon there was a
Satyr Anglewing - Polygonia satyrus, ovipositing on Nettles (Urtica dioica),
a Cabbage White - Pieris rapae or 2 and a probable Milbert's Tortoiseshell -
Nymphalis Milbertii flying by too quickly to get a confirmation. Another
Satyr Anglewing was seen later in a different part of the park. All species
were my first sightings for this year.

Subject: who says seee seee su su sueee? (Lincoln Park Seattle)

In Lincoln Park in Seattle at 9am this morning I heard a high, thin, clear
and fairly weak "seee seee su su sueee" the "seee"'s higher pitched and the
"su"'s lower. The final "eee" at the end was the same pitch as the first
"seee". It sounded very warbler-like. I couldn't get a look at it. it was
in mixed forest of hemlock, douglas fir, madrone and red alder among others
apparantly high in the trees. Any thoughts?
