Hello all,
A Brewer's Sparrow made an appearance in our yard today - it ate thistle seed almost all day off the ground under the feeder. This was a new yard bird for us and we were wondering how many of you have had Brewer's Sparrows at your feeders - this is right in the middle of town. We are considering this bird a possible Timberline Sparrow because of its larger darker upper mandible, darker streaked grayer back and overall larger size. Any comments would be appreciated.
