Norma and all, though it is tempting to both post and ask for directions to
owl locations it is generally best to keep such things quiet on a public
LISTSERV. I would recommend consulting the excellent "Birder's Guide to
Washington" by Hal Opperman and gang. This book lists MANY specific
locations for owls. What's the difference between consulting such a book
and asking for public postings? I'd say that using the guide helps to make
sure that just a few specific sites aren't swamped by owl seekers. Try
www.americanbirding.org (store), Seattle Audubon store, Nisqually NWR
headquarters, Flora and Fauna books (Seattle), or wherever else to find the
Opperman book (it's well worth the $30).
Good luck on your searching.
