Yesterday morning John Willits and I found a lone male Canvasback Duck in
Meadowbrook Creek slough (on the west side of the road) next to Three Crabs
restaurant, at the mouth of the Dungeness River. John saw it there the day
before and it may still be there now. Also saw four dowitchers (with some
dunlin) there, and 10 more dowitchers at Helen's Pond, just east of the
horse barn.
