Hello All,
We just returned from a dusty weekend of birding eastern Washington on the two day WOS Fieldtrip. On 30 April MerryLynn and I discovered 5 Tri-colored Blackbirds in the feedlot just west of Sylvan Lake at the jct. of Coyote Hill Rd. and King Ranch Rd. east of Odessa, DeLorme Page 70, B-4. There was one female and four males present, I was able to get some photos of a pair. We arrived at this site about 4:30P.M.There were many Yellow-headed Blackbirds and Red-winged Blackbirds in the area. This is the northern most group of Tri-colors we are aware of in Washington State and the first Lincoln County birds.
