Hello Tweeters:

On Ruston Way near the smelter this morning saw a Bald Eagle in the water more than 100 yards off shore bobbing as it was 'swimming' toward the beach. It took several minutes to get to the beach but when it did it had a salmon of 2 or 3 pounds. During its swim it was dive bombed by a couple of gulls and a crow. It continued to be bothered by a crow as it was eating the fish on the beach.

Also saw the Yellow-billed loon in the area between the Marine Park and Les Davis Pier about 11:10 this morning.
