On Thursday, April 29, I was astonished to find at least four male and nine female Tricolored Blackbirds with a small flock of Red-wings and Brewers at the identical spot to where Steve M., Bob F. and I saw 40 on May 31, 2002. The location is a dryland wheat farmstead just north of Texas Lake, corner of Mail Route Rd. and Texas Lake Rd. (T18N, R39E, S24). One of the males was singing and displaying. Can you pass this along to the Southeastern Washington RBA? Thanks, Bill Tweit
