Hello All,
We just returned from looking for a single WHITE-FACED IBIS discovered by the Shoemakes this morning and last seen this evening about 5:30 in a flooded field at the jct. of McDonald Rd. and DeTour Rd. 5 miles west of Walla Walla.
We missed the Ibis but as we stood near the flooded field glassing the area a single Ross's Goose dropped out of the sky and landed about 250' from us and began to pick at stuff growing in the pasture. There were also four Lesser Yellowlegs in the field. Thats it.
