Yesterday was a good evening for shorebirds below Banks Lake dam. In the nearest pond to Coulee city (just accross the main canal, below the electric plant) I had:
3 Lesser Yellowlegs
2 Solitary sandpiper
11 Western Sandpiper
6 Least Sandpiper
1 Semipalmated Sandpiper

Highway marsh pond (accessed from overlook 2/3 way accross dam):

6 Least Sandpipers
4 Black-necked Stilts
1 Red-necked Phalarope
