Just a few of the things in the vicinity of my yard so far today.
Bald Eagle (2)
Sharp-shinned Hawk (1)
Red-tailed Hawk (4)
Peregrine Falcon (1)
Band-tailed Pigeon (12+)
Vaux's Swift (10)
Rufous Hummingbird (5)
Downy Woodpecker (1)
Western Wood-Pewee (1): long overdue for yard list; also my FOS.
Pacific-slope Flycatcher (1)
Warbling Vireo (1)
Barn Swallow (2)
Bewick's Wren (2)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet (1)-slightly late.
Cedar Waxwing (3)
Orange-crowned Warbler (1)-bright individual.
Yellow-rumped Warbler (5-Audubon's)
Townsend's Warbler (2)
Wilson's Warbler (1)
Western Tanager (10+)
Spotted Towhee (2)
Dark-eyed Junco (12): now have fledged young.
Black-headed Grosbeak (1)
Red Crossbill (25)
Evening Grosbeak (15)

Yesterday was similar, but fewer birds. Exception was the tanagers, there
were at least 15 in the conifers around my house yesterday. Last night
around midnight, I heard between 15 and 20 Swainson's Thrushes fly over in a
short time of listening.
