An update to the nice numbers of shorebirds passing through. I checked both
ponds on friday evening and noted the following shorebirds, a nice
assortment for the week.

Pond below electric plant:

19 Least Sandpiper
8 Western Sandpiper
4 Semi-palmated Sandpiper
3 Solitary Sandpiper
1 Lesser Yellowlegs
2 Semi-palmated plover

I also noted friday eve that 3 immature Tundra Swans were present on the
northern end of Lake Lenore.
