This morning I was delighted to see our neighbourhood Anna's at my
feeder and now I am concerned. He is just sitting there, not feeding,
not moving much, his eyes seemed to be closed and he seems to be
hyperventilating. The solution in my feeder was not that old, nor has it
been hot, just in case I took the feeder down, and put fresh solution
in. He flew off briefly and is now right back. Is there a virus that can
effect humming birds? Has anyone else seen this sort of behaviour?
