Forgot to add that yesterday afternoon I heard a strange warbler along the
trails at St. Martin's campus in Lacey. I thought it might be a variation
on the Townsend's songs I've heard here, but when I found the bird it looked
to be a HERMIT WARBLER. I only got to see the head and underparts so I
can't rule out a hybrid HE/TO. Very neat though as I've never seen a Hermit
Warbler or hybrid in migration, only at the known breeding areas.
