I observed a Stellar's Jay stick his head in a bird house
here in Puyallup suburban backyard . Judging from
the ensuing attack by a pair of house sparrows, I
presume it was attempting to extract their offspring. I
did not see him fly off with anything in his beak, and he
returned repeatedly. Did not seem too intimidated by
