I went out and birded Llama Lake this morning with Tim Perkins, and we had a
fairly productive day. Our main highlights of the day (and past week)
include:
Greater White-fronted Goose (seen on Friday only)
Green-winged Teal
Hooded Merganser (w/ babies)
Pied-billed Grebe
Spotted Sandpiper (at least four individuals)
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER
Least Sandpiper
Long-billed Dowitcher
Cedar Waxwing (first of season)
Wilson's Warbler (singing)
Purple Finch (singing on Friday)
We had 41 species for the week; and our year list is up to 77 species.
Good Migrations,
