Hi Tweeters,

this is my first post to the list, though I have been lurking for sometime.

just to add to the baby bird mention by Mike Patterson:

I have seen 3 fledged Evening Grosbeak, 2 different hatches one week apart,
in my back yard (Eatonville WA)

One Black Headed Grosbeak young today at the feeder.

One Song Sparrow young, following his mom around begging for food and
getting his share of her finds, this was this morning in the yard.

Two Starling young at Grays Harbor NWR yesterday, of course along with the
baby Canada Geese.

we have been having quite a few bird wars including Robins, Sapsuckers (3)
along with the regular Hummingbirds which is now up to at least 5.

Along with the bird wars we had a big fight between two Douglas Squirrals,
the old man won.

I think that is all the excitement for the day.
