Anywhere between 10-20 years in the wild!
Great experience Lou Ann, I watched the broadcast the other night, superb, I
love the interest that the New Yorkers have in the Hawks and the fact the
birds can live in a building that Actors and pop stars would give their hind
leg for!!
Nice one :)

Make every Garden a wildlife Habitat!

When the animals come to us,
Asking for our help,
Will we know what they are saying?

When the plants speak to us
In their delicate, beautiful language,
Will we be able to answer them?

When the planet herself
Sings to us in our dreams,
Will we be able to wake ourselves, and act?

I just returned from a few days in NYC and had the thrill of seeing Pale
Male and family in person. The story by Marie Winn, "Red-Tails in Love"
talks about Pale Male first appearing in Central Park in 1991. That makes
him at least 14 years old! Which leads me to ask, how long do RTHA's live
in the wild?
