On 8 May Craig Corder reports 40 TRICOLORED BLACKBIRDS at their usual spot
at milepost 184 along Interstate 84 in Umatilla Co, Oregon. You can also try
looking at them by take I-84 exit 188 north to Stanfield Meadows Road. OR
DeLorme 85, AB-7.

I have a report of a BAND-TAILED PIGEON in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai Co, ID on
6 and 8 May. The bird was coming to the feeder of John Weber along 15th
Street.

Up to 3 WHITE-FACED IBIS were in a soggy alfalfa field in western Walla
Walla Co WA between 12 and 14 May according to Scott Ray and Craig Corder.
The birds were 0.5 mile north of the intersection of US 12 and Iowa Dodd
Road on the east side of US 12. WA DeLorme 40, CD-1.

On 12 May on Priest Lake, Bonner Co ID, Bob Bond reports a female SURF
SCOTER at the marina in Coolin. And, oddly, a SAGE THRASHER was also in
Coolin on 9 May according to Bob. ID DeLorme 62, AB-1.

If you have any questions about birds on the report, call me before 9 pm at
208.883.0943. If you see any of the birds mentioned in this report, be sure
to let me know.

Good birding.
