I enjoyed that show a lot, too.
We have a pair of Red-tailed Hawks that have been nesting at our place since
1987. The female is 18 or 19 years old this year. When they arrived here
together, neither one of them had a red tail yet. A new male drove the 1st male
away in 1999, and now he lives about a mile down the road with a new mate. They
have raised more than 45 little ones here.
