does anyone know about Hummingbird breeding behavior? Or can recommend a
website or book? I have two books ordered and searched the web and found
nothing.

We have lots of Rufus Hummers here at the feeders and I think I was almost a
witness to a pair actually breeding. I heard lots of humming and saw them
fly from the ground. The humming was just like a motor reveving up varooomm
varooom varooom. Much different then even the constant fighting sounds.
