My own experience with Watchable Wildlife has not been good. I am not a
rube when it comes to navigating websites. Trying to get to the donation
page, however, was one of the most difficult navigations I have ever
encountered. I made the donation some 20 days ago and still do not have the
vehicle use permit. When I inquired as to its status (promised mailing is
within 10 days) and provided the transaction ID from the transaction receipt
that I printed out, I got a reply stating that was insufficient information
to act on my request. The reply was not accompanied with a human being's
name or phone number. At this point I'm feeling ripped off. At least with
last year's donation program you could print out a temporary permit. Now
you can't. Two steps backwards. Boo to Fish & Wildlife. My attitude is
rapidly becoming--catch me if you can.
