If all goes according to plan, my wife and I will be at the statewide Audubon campout at Wenas Creek next weekend and will then bird/wine taste our way to the WOS conference the following weekend in Moscow, Idaho. We would appreciate any recommendations on birding spots we shouldn't miss along a route from Yakima to Walla Walla and then to Moscow via Pullman. Of course, "A Birder's Guide to Washington" will be our primary trip planning tool.
