Gary,
I just spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica with PC Rangers from Eagle Optics. They
are made by Celestron. At half the price of Swarovskis, they are one of the
best values out there. We did have problems with a cheaper pair which
fogged up and had to be defogged with a hair dryer. Of course, more
expensive nitrogen-purged binos are a safe bet. Take an umbrella.
