I received an e-mail this morning with two photos attached of a Northern Mockingbird. The bird was seen last week on Road E SE in Grant County, on top of the Frenchman Hills (southwest of Potholes Reservoir). Well, this afternoon around 4 pm I was driving along the east boundary (Potholes Canal) of Columbia NWR and had a mockingbird fly by heading from Long Lake toward Upper Hampton Lake. One bird or two, or maybe an invasion?
