Tweets,

A Yellow-breasted Chat was heard (not observed) at the "Mull Rd Marsh" just east of Tenino on Saturday morning, May 29. Take SR 507 "north" (ie, the hwy which runs east to Rainier/Yelm), turn left on Mull/Churchill less than a mile east of city limits. From the bridge look (& listen) toward the SE.

Other birds of interest present:
Green Heron (nesting pair, great looks)
Pied-billed Grebe (nesting apparently)
A Coot
Virginia Rail
Sora
Other typical marsh species

I was inspired to chase the remaining warblers in the vicinity for my first 9-warbler day at low elevation.
Yellow-br Chat
Yellowthroat
Yellow Warbler
Wilson's Warbler
Orange-cr Warbler
Black-th Gray
MacGillivray's
Yellow-rumped
Hermit Warbler (reliable on Military Rd just east of junction with Rainier Rd)

Good birding!
