Hello Tweeters,

Just thought I would offer another perspective:

I am reminded of my first meal exerience in France, where my friend & I
waited......and waited and waited......for the waiter to bring the bill. We
finally motioned for "l'addition", paid the tab and left.
We enjoyed the excellant food and the lengthy time at our table, and
somewhat perplexed, later checked into the local custom. To our amusement we
discovered that most places in Europe wait for the patron to signal the need
to bring the bill (or to request service,) and would actually consider it
Rude to interrupt.

Perhaps the clerks at Anacortes Telescope were of this same persuasion, not
interferring with browsing customers until assistance was requested?

I have heard only positve things about this business, and would hate to see
them "black-listed" because of a misunderstanding......or a cultural
difference.

Sincerely,
Faye McAdams
