The last time we had Black Capped Chickadees fledge this early
we got another brood. So, go Chickadees!

I walked out of my downstairs door, ready to tromp through the garden,
and stopped, because an Anna's hummer landed on the clothes dryer line
right in front of me. Calm as could be, about 6-7 feet away.

Didn't seem to mind me, and flew off to the volunteer floxglove at the
garden's edges.
All my foxglove are volunteers. I think I'll start making them mandatory.
