Have there been any recent reports of Caspian Tern nesting in
southern Puget Sound? The most recent record I can find was the paper
published in Northwestern Naturalist, "Nesting by Caspian Terns in
Lower Puget Sound, Washington During 1999."

On April 18 I saw a Caspian Tern carrying a fish crosswise in its
bill, flying north over Nisqually Delta near Red Salmon Creek.
