Tuesday November 02, 2004:
A HARRIS SPARROW is coming to feeders in the 1000 block of Sangster Drive in Qualicum Beach.
Two ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS continue to come to feeders at Rock City Road and Glen Eagle Crescent in Nanaimo.

Monday November 01:
Two ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS were seen coming to feeders in the 5100 block of Broughton Place in Nanaimo.

Sunday October 31:
Thirteen Sunday birders went on the Sunday Bird Walk to the Nanaimo River Estuary Highlights were two Short-eared Owls who put on a great show for us and six Western Meadowlarks who were perched in a small tree for a long period of time, giving us time to study them. A White-throated Sparrow showed up at the viewing tower for quick looks.

Friday October 29:
ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS have been seen coming to feeders in the 1600 block of Dufferin Crescent, in the 2000 block of Mulligan Way and in the 4800 block of Laguna Way in Nanaimo.

Thursday October 28:
ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS are coming to feeders in the 4700 block of Uplands Drive in Nanaimo.

Wednesday October 27:
An AMERICAN KESTREL was seen perched on a hydro line on Highway 19 near the Jingle Pot Road exit.
A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen in a yard in the 1000 block of Sangster Drive in Qualicum Beach.

Tuesday October 26:
A MOURNING DOVE was seen along Foxtail Avenue in Parksville.

Meet at the Bird Store at 9:00 a.m. ("PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME") or on the beach behind the Church Camp just off Arlington Road and Highway 19. at about 9:20 a.m.
