Greetings all:

According to my nursery contacts in the Midwest, the acorn crop is the worst
in memory. From Missouri east into Ohio and south through the "oak belt"
acorn production was terrible. Some nurseries are only able to find 10% of
what they need for sowing requests. No wonder the Blue Jays are bailing out
for a western vacation.
