This is the Vancouver Natural History Society's Rare Bird Alert for
Tuesday, November 2nd, sponsored in part by Wild Birds Unlimited,
with stores in Vancouver and North Vancouver.

Featured bird is SNOWY OWL.

Sightings for Tuesday, November 2nd:

A SNOWY OWL was found in Boundary Bay at the foot of 72nd street. It
was seen along the foreshore between 72nd and 64th streets.

At Iona, 4 SNOW BUNTINGS, 6 LONG-TAILED DUCK, and a PARASITIC JAEGER
were seen from the south jetty. On the outer ponds, 1 REDHEAD.

At Brunswick Point, a SHORT-EARED OWL and AMERICAN BITTERN were seen.
