Hi Guy and Tweets,

I had a Douglass squirrel carry off 3 robin chicks from a nest in a tree
this summer. The squirrel would come each morning and take another chick.
Between the mother robin and I we put up a good battle, though it was all
for nothing.

I was thinking of putting my chickadee houses up on a metal pole, and not in
a tree. But I think the squirrels could get into them anyway.

also does anyone have a description of Eastern Grays vs Western Grays? I
have grey squirrels here though they seem much smaller then the ones at the
park. And their tails are scant in comparison.

thanks in advance
