Tweets,

Just returned from a brief walk at Juanita Bay Park, and was delighted to
finally find MOUNTAIN CHICKADEES. There were at least 2 in the conifers in
the parking lot area, along with a large feeding flock that also contained
BC Chickadees, RB Nuthatch, GC and RC Kinglets, Brown Creeper, and TOWNSEND?
S WARBLER.

The juvenile PEREGRINE FALCON was also present, perched atop a snag at the
end of the west boardwalk. Once again, he had a full crop, and was there
for at least a couple of hours.

Yesterday, I birded Fir Island, and thanks to Wayne Weber?s precise
directions, had no trouble spotting the previously reported CATTLE EGRET.
It was foraging in the field to the east of the Cowtown/Firdell Farm.
Others of note:
* 1 juvenile BARN SWALLOW, hanging out with a flock of starlings on
Wylie Road. Guess he got left behind.
* 2 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS at the Skagit Game Range ? same area
where Wayne saw them
* 1 female EVENING GROSBEAK, also at the Game Range
* PEREGRINE FALCON and ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK at the Hayton Snow Goose
Reserve
