Bob Woodley reported 27 BONAPARTE'S GULLS at the Yakima Delta on October 24
and 160 TUNDRA SWAN at McNary National Wildlife Refuge on October 27.

The SURF SCOTER that was at the Yakima Delta remained until October
28. Also on that day there were 4 TUNDRA SWAN at the Yakima Delta and a
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER at the Bateman Island Marina.

Also on the 28th, Bob Woodley and Nancy LaFramboise observed a PACIFIC LOON
and 5 BARROW'S GOLDENEYES upstream from Nelson Island in Groves Park in
Richland. There also was a RED-BREASTED MERGANSER along Nelson Island.

On October 31, Jack & Murrel Dawson had a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE at their
Benton City home.

Dennis Rockwell found a MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE at Two Rivers Park in Kennewick
on November 1. It remained until at least November 2. An immature BALD
EAGLE was also seen on that day.

On November 3, Bob Woodley found an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER and a
GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Chamna Preserve in Richland.

Dennis Rockwell reported a mixed flock of American Goldfinches, PINE
SISKINS, and COMMON REDPOLLS in Two Rivers Park in Kennewick on November 4.

Also on November 4, Bev Weisbrodt and Nancy LaFramboise found quite a few
geese along Columbia Park in Kennewick. There was 1 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED
GOOSE among the numerous Cackling and Canada Geese. There was also a
RED-NECKED GREBE at the Bateman Marina.

Dennis Johnson reported 5 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES in his Richland yard on
November 5. While Red-breasted Nuthatches are resident, larger numbers
have been reported since fall.
