West side Clark's Nutcrackers have been reported from
Mary's Peak in Lincoln Co., OR and in the parking lot
of a Fred Meyer in Florence, Lane Co., OR this past
week.

It would seem to be part of of a general westward shift
in montane species (Red-breasted Nuthatch, Mt Chickadee,
Red Crossbills and even arguably Blue Jays) this fall.

Hi All:

I just listened to Birdbox for the first time in at least a year (haven't
had much time to chase rarities the last couple of years) and heard Tom
Aversa's report that Jack Bettesworth had seen a Clark's Nutcracker at
Discovery Park today.
