Tweeters,
A Harris' Sparrow was seen this afternoon along Miller Road (which is about 2 miles south of Stanwood). From Stanwood take Pioneer Hwy south, turn right at Miller Road and then travel about 1/4 mile to a broken down barn on your left. The bird was seen on the east side of the barn. There was a nice flock of other species of sparrows, Juncos and Pine Siskins milling about as well.
At the game range at Fir Island near the west parking lot a (very late?) Yellow Warbler was seen in the trees over the bridge on the south side. The Cattle Egret was also seen at the location across from the Snow Goose Reserve that Wayne Weber mentioned either yesterday or the day before.
Good luck and of course good birding.
