A White-breasted Nuthatch was seen yesterday at the north end of Vashon Island and heard several times in the preceding days. That adds another species to the Vashon list, bringing it to 234.

It's interesting what a little research and asking around turns up and the benefits of a network of birders. In the last 3-4 years research has added:
