I would certainly NOT assume that this fall's westside WB Nuthatches are
Slender-billeds. The recent montane invasion has included WB Nuthatches at several
sites from the Columbia Basin where they are quite rare.

It is quite likely that any westside WB Nuts (away from usual haunts in Clark
County) are from as far away as the MTN Chickadees, and thus not
Slender-billeds.
