Hopefully not too off topic....
I'm struggling to find a solution for a bird bath heater, to keep water in
the bath unfrozen this winter. Any of the conventional plug-in heaters don't
work as our feeder area is a long ways from the only exterior outlet, thus
causing a long extension cord and potential tripping etc.. (we're talking
over 50' away). I have not been able to find a battery powered bird bath
heater that would solve the problem. I'm hoping maybe others can help here?
Also any other solutions, besides the obvious of moving the bird bath away
from the feeder area and towards the outlet (the last case scenario).
