Hi! I just found and joined this list. I am a long time bird watcher,
my parents were avid at it and I grew up looking at birds. I have not
been active for a long time, but recently my 19 yr old daughter has
caught the bug.

We live in Washtucna and put out feeders this summer in our back yard
and were gratified by the show of birds that visited! I didn't keep a
list, but regular visitors were Gold Finches, House Finches, Brown
Headed Cowbird, a Say's Phoebe that hunted out behind our house,
Quail, Pheasant, Barn Swallows, (do bats count?), Nighthawks, Varied
Thrush (this fall, passing through), Blue Jay (we got an excellent
picture as he sat outside my daughter's window - is there a place to
share those?), Townsand's Warblers (trees in our front yard), Ruby
Crowned Kinglet, Junco's, House Sparrows, Baltimore Oriole... I know I
don't remember them all!

If you are coming out our way, let us know, it would be fun to connect
up with other birders!
