Hi All,

This morning at 10:30, Ann Marie Wood and I relocated the American Black
Duck at Juanita Bay Beach Park. When we arrived, the bird was snoozing
with its Mallard compatriots in the grass under the trees by the parking
area. Later, we had stunning views from 20 feet away and less as it
swam under the pier loop very near the building feeding on the shallow
bottom. It joined us again in the parking lot with other ducks and
gulls looking for handouts. Lots of fine waterbirds here, and we
enjoyed unexpected sunny, warm weather.
