For those interested, the Everett CBC is to be held this year on Saturday,
December 18th. I just talked to Mary Teesdale (meteesdale at hotmail.com,
360-734-2561) who's running the show, and she reports that a couple of
territories are uncovered.

One area is the Arlington edge (Arlington airport east to I-5, southern
boundary 172nd street/Edgecomb); I had an ad. Golden Eagle on the edge of
this territory last year. The other spot is near the s.e. corner of the
circle, basically the northern part of Ebey Island north to the Corson Rd
area (includes alot of low ground). Mary has all the details.

This count has been surprisingly productive in recent years; last year 128
species were found, including several rarities.
