Tweets,
This morning I birded from the Dash Point Fishing
Pier from about 0800 to 0900. From 0820 to 0845 I had
a single ANCIENT MURRELET that first appeared just
northwest of the pier and then worked its way in and
spent about 10 minutes around and under the Pier
offering some quite amazing views. Other alcids
included 2 MARBLED MURRELETS, 1 COMMON MURRE, and
about 15 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS.
Among the other more usual species were 3 female
BLACK SCOTERS, 5 GREATER SCAUP, and about 15
BONAPARTE'S GULLS.

Good Birding,
Matt Pike
